Hi all! What is everyone up to tomorrow? Are you hosting, visiting friends, doing a clambake on the beach or sailing off to sunset? Give me your gingham and eyelet, your white, red and blue, your white cotton dresses yearning to be free….

Wear shorts and flats, you are not going to be comfortable with heels.

Again, make sure you are comfortable! Flip flops, cut offs and cute tank or top BUT do add some color, red/white/blue is a great combo. If you wear a dress (and you should) wear something that isnt overly precious, no silk etc. And wear color!

What not to wear: I am totally fine with Americana-style top, I have a flag tee myself but do not do this look head to toe. Also, even if its a catered event, its still casual. Sequins, high heels, anything super sexy are a NO! (saw several women wearing sequins at a catered event last night). It’s not a cocktail party! Also, stay away from high heels (if you need some height, espadrilles and wedges are perfect) and do wear some color. It is fun occasion so black dresses or black/white/grey combos were little drabby, especially since most women wore colors.
